Our community outreach activities are paramount to the educational aspect of violence prevention. Grace Sparkes House continues to be visible in our region with information, support and activities that reflect our mandate. Community partnerships and support, certainly enhances the work that we do and sends a strong message that violence is not acceptable. We appreciate the time and care taken by all individuals that offer support to our services.

The Grace Sparkes House “Information Selfie Booth” at the Shining Seas Festival in Marystown was a great success! Being part of as many community events as possible provides us the opportunity to share information regarding our services.

Violence Prevention Month Proclamation signing with the Town Council of Marystown and MHA Minister Clyde Jackman. We are very fortune to have a strong working relationship with all levels of government.

During Violence Prevention Month, Minister Clyde Jackman and Minister Darin King served purple donuts at the local Tim Hortons in Marystown. As one of our community partners, the Marystown Tim Hortons store continues to support the work of Grace Sparkes House during Violence Prevention Month by preparing purple donuts and providing information on our services.
