February is Violence Prevention Month in Newfoundland and Labrador. It provides Grace Sparkes House staff and their many community partners with the opportunity to plan many activities to increase personal awareness and encourages others to take action to prevent gender-based violence. To spark change, we must openly acknowledge how violence affects our communities, our families and our lives. We all play a role in continuing to raise awareness and to be an instrument of change.
Please join us as we aim to increase awareness of the warning signs of intimate partner violence and the resources and supports available so we can work together to end violence and build healthier relationships in our communities.
